I'm baaack! Got back yesterday morning, but I unpacked, went for a walk with my Dad and then slept for 16 hours straight. lol

I know I can't possibly catch up on my online world, so give me a shout, tell me the gossip. How are you all and what's going on? Have I missed any big events in fandom? :D

Welcome home!!

And your postcard is now the front-runner for this year's "cheesiest postcard award". I laughed so much when I got it! Thank you!!

Oh! And you'll have to tell me where those Sherlock locations are so I can go check it out myself when I get there! :D

Yeah, happy to share any SH finds with you all.

See you go home, and the sun disappears. I kid you not. I had GLOVES on yesterday at the train station.

I think you should come back immediately so the summer can return and I have someone to talk to about The Listener.

Oh no. I wonder if the boss would take that as an excuse for returning. I feel bad that I didn't try to meet up with you or anything. Next time. *wills the sunshine back* It's cold here too if it makes you feel any better. :D

I think it is a perfectly acceptable excuse for returning to the UK. You can tell the boss I said so. :P

And no worries about not meeting up - you had a lot to squeeze in and with my redundancy worries I wasn't sure what I could commit to. But am glad you had a good time. Hope the recovery doesn't take too long!

Hope you had a fantastic time and the UK wasn't too horrible to you! I noticed the weather went a bit crap as you arrived! (It's sunny now!)

LOL! The weather was amazing almost the whole trip! The UK loved me! :D

Oh my tour bus drove through your forest on either side of the highway and I waved at you. Hope you felt warm and fuzzy for a moment. All these people to catch up with next time I go.

Welcome home! Hope you had a fantastic time.

I'm heading to the UK in a few months, so I'm looking forward to hearing all about your trip so I can use it to help plan my own! :)

You just doing the UK or some of the EU as well? Where are you thinking of going to in the UK?

I really need to get my photos in order. I think that's tomorrow's job. I've been lazy today.

I was going to send you this email I got from Accomplice that'd get you cheaper rates, but the darn thing only lasted a week, so it expired before I even made it home. So not fair. I know you were talking about doing it too. Oh well. It was heaps of fun! :D

Oh, you did the London Accomplice? I did it in the US, so I definitely want to do it again when I'm there! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.

I'm heading over late August; I'm only in the UK for a couple of weeks, and I'm actually spending most of the time with my parents (my mum is originally from Scotland, and my dad from England, so I want to see their areas of the world while they're still young enough to show me). After that, I'm doing a tour around 'mainland' Europe; it's about 3 weeks, which should give me a quick look at most of the places I'm interested in, and then I can see places I love in more detail in the future.

I'd love to hear more about what you saw/did. Are you planning to write a post with your highlights?

Yeah, I'll put some photos up somewhere. I'm never very good at organising my thoughts, so I don't know how I'm gonna go about it though. I did an 11 day bus tour that took in parts of England, Scotland and a tiny bit of Wales (saw Cardiff Bay at least - go Torchwood!), so that was a similar thing (get a quick idea of what I'd like to see in more detail at a later date) and I spent over a week in London either side of the tour.
