OMG LJ! You crack me up. Send out an LJ announcement expounding on the wonder of the FREE sponsored v-gifts and when I hit the link it tells me they are "SOLD OUT". Thanks LJ, that's swell. *eyeroll*

I know the snowflakes weren't meant to be free, but they were more fun.

That's something to do with the fact that as paid accounts, we're not meant to see ads, which sponsored vgifts counts as, or some such. There's something you turn off that fixes it, or some other link to click on, that was talked about in the comments of the LJ news post that announced these.
