The Telemovie makes me quite glad that Fox didn't continue trying to make Doctor Who. Much as I love it both for itself and the 'first new Who in years' factor, it's... um. Very different. I'd like to think that RTD saw the movie, went 'Oh hell no,' and started planning the new series. ^.^
But I do like the take on gun-usage, and I believe that was the first Doctor-nipple sighting, among other things. Oh and the newscaster who says "Most accurate atomic clock in the world" about a hundred times was an actual newscaster from the Canadian partner-station, which got to air the movie a day before anywhere else.
