I wonder if it wasn't the fact that they had an egg that got them to break up this year. after all, penguin couples stay together for one breeding season and then switch. If that's true though, Pepper will always be the longest relationship of Harry's life! (Suddenly I'm reminded of Henry the eighth! tee hee)

Hmm, but the video seemed to be suggesting they mate for life and it was only the death of the girl penguin's mate that gave Harry a chance to partner with her. Either way, the story just amused me. It is so Soap Opera and it's penguins. :)

I'm basing my entire knowledge on "March of the Penguins"... and now that I think of it, that's a different kind of penguin. hum. (I love how Pepper seems to be keeping a cool head in all this. Plotting his revenge!seduction, maybe??)
