Is so weird.

Why does everyone hate Olivia? She has really pretty hair. I like her. :)

On the other hand...I quite often want to smack Walter. Pfft. They try a bit too hard to make him zany.

This show is so weird. Why am I watching it? *watches* Oh yeah, Peter makes me smile and the lack of anything resembling science is crack-tastic in really awful ways. It makes my brain hurt from the deliberate stupid, but in a good kinda way, I think. :)

Oooh you know what we need? Fringe/SPN crossover. Yep yep yep. OMG the crack potential!

Once again my avoidance of fandom has made me ignorant. I didn't know people hate Olivia. I think she's a tad boring and a bit of a "debbie downer" but other than that I'm fine with her. I think the actress playing her is gorgeous. I also think the one playing her sister is gorgeous. I think they were unbelievably good casting as siblings.
I love Joshua Jackson - I think he's adorable and has charisma and a lot of potential as an actor. That said, I like Peter but they gotta give him more to do.
I love Walter. He makes me laugh and when he cries, I tear up. Good actor.
I'd like to see more personality from Astrid. I think she's a character they're missing out on.

JJ Abrams shows bring the masses (unlike Joss Whedon's shows) but they don't really get you to commit (unlike Joss Whedon's shows). I enjoy Fringe. I like the look and the just bizarreness of the cases but I don't really feel a huge connection with the characters yet.

Hee, I just watched the first ep where her sister comes to stay with her. She is pretty too and they look similar. :)

I agree, give Peter more to do.

I think Walter is growing on me slowly, but I still find him a little too over the top at times. *hands* Just, he doesn't seem... I don't know how to describe it.

I like the look and the just bizarreness of the cases but I don't really feel a huge connection with the characters yet.

Oh totally! That's me too. I only just started watching again because it was there to watch. I actually gave up on it altogether on the telly a while ago, but I needed something silly lately to just relax. No thought needed.

I loved Fringe when it first came out... I mean, JOsh Jackson anyone?? PLus the arc and vague attempt at science. But it clashed with Burn Notice so I lost track and will now need to wait for DVD.

Because, you know, Josh Jackson...

LOL! Yes Joshua Jackson indeed. :P
The attempts at science aren't even vague, there is no science involved, but that's what makes it amusing. :P

Ah, Fringe... I need to get back into that show. I saw the pilot and every ep up until the Christmas hiatus, then I forgot when it came back on and haven't caught up yet. It is a good show. Walter cracks me up, lol!

LOL! Good might be an overstatement, but it is amusing and doesn't require any thought and it's just what I've needed lately. :)

Plus, Joshua Jackson is a dish! :)

I dunno, just seems every time I stumble across a post about Fringe... which isn't that often... people are saying how boring she is and just don't like her. Hence my question. I assume they just find her boring, since that's all anyone has said.

...Or maybe they accidentally stumbled on the Peter/Olivia shippers in the pit like I did. lol OMG bad!fic abounds. :P
