Woot! I have converted my friend to SGA at last! *evil laughter*

Earlier this same friend held me to ransom...she would give me the episodes of SGA her bro downloaded, but only if I watched the first season of BSG first, because she's addicted and had no one to talk about it with. Of course I agreed and I'm now addicted to BSG too!

Anyway, she finally caved and agreed to watch some SGA, but she'd *shock horror* deleted them from her computer...so I lent her the boxset. CONVERTED!! Wooo! We watched three more episodes yesterday!
She used to tease me about my Rodney (and various other character) desktop backgrounds, but now she understands why he rocks so much. Even agrees that he's way better than Shep!

Yes...converted, converted!

Well I still blame our mutual friend derry667 for getting me into SGA. I have been into BSG since it started - mainly due originally to the actor playing Apollo (Jamie Bmaber) also being in Hornblower (one of my other great fandoms and the reason Derry & I know each other). It was at the Hornblower gathering in Portsmouth UK last October that Derry & guttermaiden were watching SGA vids, mainly on the big screen via my projector. Watching them made me want to see more of the show - so I started watching, and now I am completely hooked....
