Somehow I think his fear is more mundane, though, because if it were something this truly traumatic, I doubt Dean would tease him so much. I totally agree, but it was fun to write around the urban legend nonetheless. :)
I did like John's rules and how Sam did his best to adhere to them, even in the face of extenuating circumstances. Thank you! I figure when most parents were teaching stranger danger and getting kids to memorise their home phone number and address, John would have been drilling his kids in other things.
