This is Miss South Carolina answering a question at the Miss Teen USA pageant. I thought everyone had seen this because it made the news even here in Australia, but my parents hadn't seen it, so I thought I'd link.

That poor thing. She looks like she crammed for questions on Iraq and got all tangled up when it was -- oh no! -- something else.

Yeah I know. It just makes my jaw drop though. Stage fright, I guess, but it makes no sense at all. I can see someone coaching her about Iraq etc and what to say and then she can't think of anything else.

She made no sense at all. It was somewhere between hilarious and watching a bunny being kicked. I couldn't decide whether I should cringe or laugh.
