...do that thing where I force someone's LJ entry to open in the plain white style?

There are a few people's LJ's that make my eyes bleed and a few others where the layout flat-out refuses to open for me in firefox and yet I want to read their fic and I know there's a way to force the post to be in the plain white style.

Anyone wanna reveal the secret? You know you want to.

As your journal entries are plain white, what is said above will work.

Don't know how to get it work if your journal style is like mine, where the entries aren't white, and you're using ?style=mine.

You can also use ?format=light - that strips everything out.

?format=light. It strips it down to more basic, but if you want override your own code, that does it.

Now I know where I'd been going wrong...I'd tried ?style=light.

If you're looking for a quick, cheat-y way then just clicking on 'link' at the bottom left of the entry opens it in the eyes-friendly white page.

I've somehow got style=mine as my default and I have no idea how I did it... :)

Oh I have that style+mine as default too, but it only works on my friends page or my own entries. It was a setting in the layout stuff somewhere. :)
