But if he (I'm assuming this particular he is Sam?) were only to wear on Sundays, then wouldn't there be less wear-age of them and he would appear to prefer them?
(I had a similar reaction. Sam prays, hence holey jeans!)
It just goes to show that Sam is more up on fashion (that and the fact that Sam has twice the amount of clothes as Dean - he's such a girl!), Holey jeans being in and all.
And the only the other day I saw a girl with a giant hole over her knees and wondered why she couldn't afford a new pair. (Although, given that I can't afford a new pair, I should perhaps not be so questioning.)
(Apparently I am not fashionable! Alas!)

He is! I mean, he probably doesn't smell as much either!
6. When is "Sam" a "Sammy" and other pressing name questions. Note: This was a little more complicated than usual as Sam was possessed for most of the episode. I've counted the times the demon was pretending to be Sam as Sam, but I also added Sam talking about himself in the third person. I've included the times Dean talked to the demon in Sam and the demon talked to Dean from within Sam in parentheses.
From dudemeter for the episode "Born under a bad sign"
dude. Just when I was having a full-on self-victimizing episode over the soul-sucking powers of Fandom, and how I MUST cut down on my internet time and focus on RL, I realize that I'm not that bad off. Awsome.
Ha! Yeah, I've had those moments lately too. But then some days I seriously love my fandom.
Check out the tables for how many times the boys say stuff like "dude" or break into things or... here (http://community.livejournal.com/dudemeter/4401.html#cutid1) A whole comm devoted to it. Oh my! *giggles*

I wanna spork it and yet it's hilarious! I guess in a fic sense it could even be useful to some people, but really I'm still stuck on OMG!

So. Dean likes to use the not-names, while Sammy likes his name.
