Summary: All strangers, All beggars, are under the protection of Zeus, and even small gifts are welcome.
This is a WIP, but this part actually reads fine by itself. Love the sort of sparse, gritty description and John's POV. So very BSG. I love a crossover that seems to really fit and just work and here she's really building the world, because it's set before the bombs go off and the cylons hit.
