This is a brotherly moment, but it's got such a lovely descriptive style that it sucks you right in and just made me smile. Ah boys!


Unexpected company by dotfic (Gen, PG-13, preseries, 7200 words)
Author Summary: The one where John has wings, Sam is a toddler, Dean is seven, and Bobby is in way over his head.
This one has perfect characterisation for Bobby and John. A joy to read and nice to see a wing!fic where John's the one with the wing problem.


How about you walk a mile ... by tahirire (PG -13, 1,101 words, Gen, Sam, Uriel, Dean cameo, Spoilers: For 4.10.)
This is just awesome! I don't want to give the story away, but Sam vs Uriel... Creepy, yet satisfying as well. I kind of found myself thinking: I hope it happens.


I Like the Girls with the Boom by innie_darling (R, Dean/OFC, pre-series)
There's not a lot of R in here. Just for the record. This OFC is just so real and the story had me smiling like a loon. So sweet. Het fics are often so hit or miss in this fandom... but this one is a definite hit. Love it! :)
