The Spook Me Multi-Fandom Halloween Ficathon 2008!

This ficathon was created by ozsaur and dustandroses because they love spooky stories. Halloween is the best time of year for reading stories that offer pulse pounding thrills, blood curdling dread and hair-raising horror.

All fandoms are welcome. Stories can be Gen, Het or Slash. All ratings are accepted.

There are a couple of changes this year. This time around, you can pick your own creature. Or you can let them pick one for you and they will send it along with the secret prompts. And this year, the secret prompts are based on movie titles from old '60s horror and sci-fi movies (last year the titles were from movies of the 1950's). You might get The Premature Burial, for example, as one of your secret prompts. You do not have to watch the movies! The titles are for inspiration.

September 15: sign ups end
September 16: prompts sent out
October 20: reminder posted here-- please join the community if you want to get the reminder.
October 27: Master List opens, stories are due!


There's no pressure from the mods -- If you don't post, or change what fandom you're going to write for, they are fine with it.
