Birds Against Pink Skies by pixel_0 (Het, R, Pre-series AU oneshot, 7138 words)
Characters: Sam/Jo, Ellen, mentions of John and Dean
Summary: California was going to be a chance at something new. She’s new but not part of his plan.

I really enjoyed this AU. I think it's the first fic to really sell the Sam/Jo pairing to me and that's mainly because it's an AU, but it works really well, building up a relationship in a slow and believable manner. :)
