I had totally forgotten about this, but the lovely person who nominated me did tell me that a while back. Thank you sweetie! It was a lovely surprise. :)

Bumfuck!

Why does this word appear in every Supernatural fic I read?

It can be a really cute little wee!chester fic, or an angsty Sam-is-evil fic or anything at all really, but they are always in Bumfuck Middle of Nowhere, or East Bumfuck!

Who started this trend!

The first time I saw it, I though it was mildly amusing. It's got to the point now where if it isn't a great fic, and I see that phrase, I'll pretty much want to stop reading right then and there. I just notice it that much.

Find something original people!
