Just went to a movie and dinner and watched some vids and exchanged some files and all that fun stuff with yokiem, derry667 and mcalex22. Oh what fun, fun, fun!

The movie was Hot Fuzz and wow is that a weird film. It fell a little flat at some points, but it was definitely amusing and toward the end I was definitely laughing! Just so freakin' silly! :)

Derry has been giving me vidding and fic requests, so maybe I'll get to them eventually. Hee! I don't think I've ever had a vid request before. :)

Anyway it's 12:30 now and I want to watch SPN before I call it a night, so I'd better get to it, before I turn into a pumpkin.

How...odd! And vote for SPN!

Just as I kind of feel that "the powers that be" are messing quite a lot with one of my favourite shows, Stargate Atlantis - and I am still with holding judgement here and waiting to see what S4 brings - they have released a statement saying they are making a third Stargate series: STARGATE UNIVERSE

Odd title.

Anyway, I was just thinking this is all very startrek-like... all these series spin-offs. I'm not really sure what to think. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, but I sort of thought they'd leave SGA to try to hack it on its own first. I'm rather surprised at this news.

Holy water. Needed to know about that for a fic.

Once blessed, more ordinary water can be added to the supply of holy water, and the entire quantity of water remains blessed provided that the amount added is less than the amount of water that was there.
That's kinda cute and I think it answers one of my questions, because if I have them bless the water in a fountain, which is continually moving, the rate of water moving into and out of the fountain will be fairly steady, so it'll likely remain blessed. Yay!

I love how you can look up one thing on Wiki and end up following links for an hour.

Goes back to fic ponderings in the background. Not that I'm writing, just pondering. :)

Where did today go? Honestly, I even got an extra hour, because of daylight savings, and I still didn't get anything done. One minute it was noon, the next it was 4pm and I don't honestly know what I did in between. *spooky* o_O

I think I'll try to write some thesis bits later tonight, because this weekend has been a bust in that respect completely. Why am I telling you this... guilty motivation. I have to do it now. *cheesy grin*
