Not Your Average Imaginary Friend by very_rotten (Gen, G-rated)
When her son had come home from kindergarten one day and introduced her to someone who wasn't there, Marianne had simply taken it that he was just creative, if a little lonely. Children often made up imaginary friends and she couldn't blame John for wanting a little stability in the midst of their frequent moves.
As time passed she learned that her son's imaginary friend wasn't like other imaginary friends.
This is the cutest series. The premise being that little John Sheppard comes home with an imaginary friend, Rodney, who really isn't like other imaginary friends.
Read the whole story-arc (linked at the bottom of each part), because it's just lovely the way it moves on further into their lives with each new part and eventually comes full-circle. Big thumbs up for creativity and making me feel all warm and tingly! This is just delightful!
