I have the most stupid vidding idea ever for the 1 minute challenge (and no it isn't the one we discussed today Yokiem). You know I'll probably make it too.


Anyway, the point of this post was to rec a fic.

Seachange by alyse (PG-13, Gen or hints of McKay/Sheppard/Weir, takes place after episodes 'the Storm/the eye') - Summary: Atlantis is always cold.

This fic is from 2005 and I only just stumbled onto it, but I was very glad I did. It has a lovely Weir POV that works so well. The story deals with the direct aftermath of getting rid of the Genii from Atlantis, but before the actual storm has ended (something that they skipped over in the episode and this fills in the blank nicely). There is a sort of quite beauty about the writing of this one and I really loved it.
