snap cup meme and holiday rambles

Logs in quickly at parents house and loves the snap cup meme that's going around (started by nakedtoes)...so I added my name. Just came back from Thredbo and there was SNOW...in December!!! Only a little bit, but it was really cold. We went bushwalking expecting to wear shorts and t-shirts and ended up rugged up in jackets and jeans. *grins* It was fun though. *sings* I'm dreaming of a white christmas...Closest I've got to it in Oz.

Oh and I learnt to play quick scrabble. It's fun. You use the letters from the scrabble game, but not the board and you pick up 7 letters each and everyone tries to make their own little group of interconnecting words out of them. Whoever does it first yells STOP and everyone picks up 2 more letters and starts again. You can mess up the words you have made and start again, or keep adding, as long as you end up with interconnecting words, like a crossword. You keep going until all the letters are gone and the person who finsishes putting all of their letters together first wins and then everyone keeps going until you have a secondand third etc. It's really fun and unlike normal scrabble, it only takes about 10-15mins per game. *grins*
