At the moment I'm rather distracted by holidays and flaily and OMG CARSON FICATHON IS DUE so I'm out of ideas. I do want to do something though; last year, the week in which I actually did something for it, wasa lot of fun.
I have another plot idea, but I'm not sure if I can write it in time. I've been on a bit of a writing dry period. If it weren't for lvw making me write something each week, I think I'd not be writing at all atm. :( If you wanna chat about your prompt, I'm online now. Watching Jericho though, so I might be a bit distracted, but when am I not distracted? :P
I hate dry periods. Even if that is my entire fanfic... career? *huggles*
You are forever distracted. ...Not really, but you are distractable! :P
I watched Jericho too. What did you think of it? I was a little less than thrilled. Very very cliche. But I wants to know what's going on so I'll probably watch next week. *headdesk* (And how awesome is it not ACTUALLY HAVE TO DOWNLOAD something so we can see it not months after the US?)
I'm actually okay with the prompt. Have a basic idea of it. The only reason I don't like it is because it's really more funny than dark and plot than gut and I don't deal well with plot. ;D
Meh to writing dry periods. Yeah I felt the same about Jericho. I'll prob tune in next week to see too though. Hee! And yes, nice not to have to dl. I guess it's not sci fi though, so they prob think it'll have a wider audience.
You'd rather write dark fic? Really? And what's gut exactly? Good luck with it.
Yeah, it's not sci fi. I was hoping though, that it might be borderline (because I am an idget and Nuclear Explosions automatically make me think sci fi. Oh Stargates.)
I rather write angsty/drama/dark/whatever fic, mainly because my humour is fairly oddball and quirky. But I find the darker is slightly more 'gut' to me. Gut meaning... Well, I recently realised that (in my head, anyway) I pretty much go at characters from an 'emotional' point of view. Their reactions to whatever is what I think typically drives my stories (and if plot develops from that, fantastic!) ...I think I tend to think/imagine from the inner view and not the outer? Which is sort of what I meant by gut - less logic/plot, more reaction. I think.

Does that make any sense?
