I have this weird idea in my brain that Dominion is an AU spin off of Supernatural and I'd love someone to sort of write an AU of both worlds that makes them fit together perfectly.
As in... Imagine if Michael and Lucifer had managed to make Sam and Dean say 'Yes!" and they had their big stand-off and the Michael won. But then rather than bring peace on Earth, some of the angels turned around and decided "Hey, let's kill all the humans (or take over their bodies) and make it our new home."
So, poor Michael has just fought his brother, Lucifer, and now he's forced to fight his other brother, Gabriel (this is where it's a bit AU as SPN Gabriel probably would have no interest) and his army of lower angels.
Tadaa... And it'd be cool if somehow after the first big war, the angels let Sam and Dean go and Michael took a new host body... 'cos then they might even exist in the world created in Dominion. Plus I quite like the meat suit Michael wears in Dominion. And I'd love to know where Castiel might fit in. Perhaps he has his own little city somewhere that he protects and that's where Dean and Sam are living.
Anyway, it's probably batty, but it keeps making me smile thinking about it as I watch Dominion. So I thought I'd share and maybe spread the bug.
Also, what do you all think of Dominion? It's interesting, but the acting is a bit hit and miss... and the accents. So many of the actors seem to be pretending to be American and not managing to be convincing... WAIT, I just looked it up. Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa! Now I get it! Most of them probably ARE faking their American accents. Heee! And they've all chosen different American accents too. It cracks me up! Throws me out of the show somewhat, but cracks me up big time, so I kinda love it!

I think the plot was set in the beginning of time, when God left Michael in charge of man, but Michael decided tha man kind should be wiped out.
If you wanted an AU of Supernatural, then maybe that you would be right that Sam and Dean say 'yes' but in a twist of fate Castial is able to steal their Grace, making them human(as well as trapping them in Sam and Dean, so in a way they sacrificed themselves to prevent the Apocolypse). And the series will end with Micahel and Lucifer(in Sam and Dean's bodies) reluctantly live the life as humans(as well as putting up with eachother) and seeing them drive off in Dean's car.
What you think?
