It's a long weekend here and I have a cold... so I found myself feeling fannish for the first time in ages. But what fandom? *sighs* I'm so out of the fandom world. I feel like a fish out of water all of a sudden. Noooooo.

Loving the SPN promo. That'll be interesting once it's out.

But I was thinking I'd like to get into some Marvel Avengers fic. I read a pre-slash sort of Clint Barton/Phil Coulson h/c fic today and rather liked it. Anyone got some recs for me? I'd love anything with Clint in it. Jeremy Renner is way too delicious for words. I'm rewatching The Bourne Legacy as I type this actually.

I am psyched that some of the new shows out this season seem interesting. Agents of SHIELD seems quirky and will hopefully get more interesting as the characters develop. Sleepy Hollow is rather cool. They cast the main guy well.

Nothing much else to report. *cough snuffle* Just under the weather and hoping for some reading material. *bats eyes and looks pathetic* Any recs for stuff you think I might enjoy... please do drop me a line.

Sorry, I haven't been looking at recent fandom. I've been having a period of needing absolute comfort watching and reading, so I've gone all the way back to the beginning of Stargate SG1, which I watched when it first came out with a great flatmate. So not only am I enjoying Jack and Daniel and Sam and Teal'c, I'm also being taken back to what seems in retrospect to be a simpler time. (It can't really have been - for some of it I was studying law.)

I'm really looking forward to Agents of Shield! I love that it's being fast-tracked. I hope it lasts, and doesn't get shunted to some late-night timeslot on a digital channel. Most Australians don't seem to really sci fi. :-(
