I'm probably simply a paranoid nut, but lately it has seemed from the tone of a few conversations I've had and such, that perhaps some of the stuff I put in my LJ is not to some of your tastes and somehow this has made you annoyed or frustrated with me.
It is my LJ and I don't apologize for what I put in it! I realise that when I joined LJ, I was as good as a country bumpkin and only tentatively opened the odd fic labeled slash or smut. I do still absolutely love the gen and crack fic for which I friended many of you, though good gen seems to be getting harder and harder to find *sobs*. If my tastes have now changed slightly to include some of the things I previously stayed away from, or refrained to mention, I'm sure you can all cope with it.
I enjoy chatting with you all and, after some comments in particular, have made an effort to clearly label all of my recs and fics for content. Hopefully this is enough. You all friended me voluntarily and of course are free to unfriend me, so I'm hoping this is simply my own paranoia at work, but I felt the need to say something.
Let me say also, that if I instigated our friendship, it was because I admire something about you, whether it be your social commentary and general view on life, your fan fiction or graphics skills, a mixture of the aforementioned or something else entirely.

EDIT: Thanks to those of you who responded to this little paranoid rant. I won't respond to all your comments, but I feel somewhat better. Like I commented to _wwsd_ below, it's not aimed at anyone in particular, but it just needed to be said by me for my own peace of mind.
