I can't quite figure out what the point of Lana is. Her whole role seems to be to stand around making doe eyes and looking pretty, while the guys lust after her. Am I missing something?
LOL! No, I think you've pretty much nailed it. :D The whole Lana and Clana thing was the reason I finally gave up on Smallville - it was the ship that wouldn't die, like the song that never ends. I didn't hate Lana exactly, but she did begin to annoy me exceedingly...as you said, she doesn't really have a purpose except to be the beautiful and helpless love interest.
