*chants* Do it, do it, do it... I'm not even fannish about SPN, but it's such an awesomely cracked idea. If you go with an older MacGyver, he could've known their dad and studied under the same guy, or something. Maybe MacGyver just wasn't willing to believe all that stuff when he was a young whippersnapper, until he found himself working as a secret agent and encountered things like the Sasquatch.
