My answer isn't "well, duh" -- though, yeah, that applies. It's "tough shit."

Do you honestly think that anyone who writes chan doesn't know it's disturbing to some people? Why warn for it if it's a surprise that it bothers some?

Likewise, I'm fully aware that are those who dislike slash, and who would be deeply disturbed that I write it (or that it even exists). I've had long arguments with those types of people on the barrow-downs in the Lord of the Rings fandom.

I have no intention of giving one millimeter to those people, or to heatherly. She and the anti-slash people (there's no difference) are going to have to suck it up and learn how to read warnings and use the Back button.
