A stream of consciousness approach to LJ posting
I've reuploaded the large version of my Ride of the Wraith vid. If anyone could check it for me to make sure it's working (it did for me), I'd really appreciate that.
I'm so stuck on this week's lvw challenge. The prompt is "first time" and you'd think that would be easy. I think because it's the last one, my brain is trying to decide whether it wants to do it's usual crack or try for something more profound. I guess we'll see where I end up.
Still have stupid headache STOP. Ouch STOP. So not fair STOP.
I made pizza tonight and I ate two bananas! Actual bananas and I didn't have to take out a mortgage to afford them! Woo! For those non-Australians out there, bananas have been massively expensive due to freak whether wiping out the last harvest.
Got a massage today at the chinese place. I've decided I love that place. Today the guy asked me to tell him if he went to hard. Pffft! That's why I like it! They go so hard sometimes it does hurt, but it feels great! Plus they have some sort of acupressure thing going on. Like they press on a spot and it hurts a bit and then they shift something else and all the muscles feel better there. Magic! *bows down to Chinese masseurs* Oh and today, the guy did the bit where they massage your arms (which tickles) and hands too and he had really nice thighs (They put your hand there, while they massage your arms...)! Like hard muscle. *coff* Not-that-I-noticed-or-anything *coff* I got his name. :)
Oooh, Yokiem says she has episodes of BSG! Woo! Didn't get whether that was actual new episodes or webisodes. Hope it's actual episodes. I still have to watch the other webisodes. I keep leaving them at work on my laptop.
Finished my book Thursday night. (The Kylie Chan one) Only, it's part one in a trilogy and it's new, so I probably have to wait forever for the next one. *sigh* This is why I buy second hand (that and I'm cheap). It had some nice martial arts in it though and some very romantic stuff, where the lovers can never touch. *sniffle*
Which brings me to my latest desire to do Taekwondo again. When I moved to Sydney, I was a third kup (ie. three more levels to blackbelt) and I'd love to get into it again. Took me forever to track down the style I used to do here in Sydney and it looks like all the dojangs are on the other side of the bridge. Doh! Maybe it's not to far to drive to one of them. I can look it up on the map.
I think I've also found me a tai chi place. It's only one suburb away, so maybe I can do that. *nods* This is me deciding to do group activities again. My social circle has shrunk like whoa, since I stopped dancing. I hope some of these things happen. Oh and I found a local community band too, but I need to play some more before I'd be game to try. Oh, I lie, one more thing... is anyone else having GoogleTalk issues tonight? I can't seem to use it and the few times I got it to open, it cut out on me. Anyone?? Anyway, that's why I'm so quiet online tonight. Prob why this post is happening, because there's no one to ramble to...

I bought three bananas and I ate two right away. They are about $12 now, which is better than before. I think they were up around $25 last time I bothered to look, but I could be wrong.
