Amazing, isn't it? Opinions differ on that jump in time, but I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Daring, but that's what this show is. :)

I'm reserving judgement a bit until I see what they do with it, but it was pretty fracking shocking!! The writing is so good, I'm sure they won't fail me. :)

Hmm. He did look a little pudgy. I was trying to figure out why he looked different. I guess that was it. Was it deliberate you think, or has Bamber just put on some? I don't follow the fandom.

Oh, he's DEFINITELY meant to be fat. There's a very funny clip with Jamie, putting on the "fat" on SciFi.com.

I'm afraid I'm not very fannish about BSG in the fiction way. I've never felt much of an urge to read stuff, because the show's so damn good on its own. My only exception is Gaeta, because he's adorable and because he's suspected to be gay (all starting with his hero worship of Baltar...). So I have no good tips, I'm afraid.

Sounds funny! Now that I'm not paranoid about spoilers, I'll have to go take a look. :)

I'm not that interested in the fiction, but I thought I'd just take a look and see if I was surprised. I think since it's so angsty, if I tried to write it, I'd end up writing crack. Not sure how well that would go over. :P

...and Gaeta has a hero worship of Baltar? Really? huh.

In season 1, when Baltar is supposed to develop that Cylon detector, Gaeta helps him, remember? And it's quite obvious that he has great reverence for Baltar. Which is why, he then ends up working for him and is looking extremely disillusioned in that season 2 finale. Gay or not, he has strong feelings about Baltar, that's for sure. :)

Yeah true. Plus he was the one that discovered the whole election scandal too. Poor woobie. They need to find him a nice girl/guy at some point. Everyone else has one.
