Hmm SPN catchup going on presently...

So I've got to the end of 807 tonight. Working on catching up. So far didn't mind the last two eps I watched. There was some interesting stuff there, but nothing that wow-ed me. Boys back on the road, Castiel mysteriously back ...although better for me was random appearance of Amanda Tapping as an angel in Heaven's office Woot! Love that!

I also watched this evening's ep on the telly live. An amusing episode where Charlie was back. Yay!

So when does it get all "omg they ruined my show"? Yeah, see I've been reading your entries, just didn't know how to comment until I've caught up. Heh. Hopefully soon. I'm possibly not invested enough these days to know what set fandom off though, or is it really obvious when I get there? I mean apart from the constant references from Dean about Sam not looking for him yada yada.

Anyhoo. Just letting you all know I am making moves towards a catch up.

Oh man...for me it was seeing the direction they were taking. Mostly 8.10 was it for me. won't say anything but it cemented a lot of what I was worried about. Of course then came the Charlie ep, last weeks ep and what looks like an amazing ep this week so I'm feeling much more positive.

The soap opera style story telling of Sam (supposed) love life is the thing that got me all riled up. Not that he had a love life (loved that) but just the execution of it all. I still hold out hope that it actually all meant something.

Okay, well at least I know why I haven't yelled at the telly yet. I may not be as invested as I once was, but I still cringe and think of you guys when the writers really stuff things.

Oh Arrow. Honestly, I am not watching for the plot. *wink*

For me - and I promise not to rant - it was the umpty-thousandth repeat of the inter-brother whining. ("You didn't look for me! You lied to me! You betrayed me!") Plus the tedium that was Sam/Amelia. And the utter lack of fun.

I agree with Ash48 - the last couple of episodes have turned things entirely around for me, along with the hints I've seen in interviews of what's to come.

Yeah that tedium is already getting to me. Especially when I thought that Dean would be happy that Sam was happy during that time. It actually wasn't the reaction I expected from Dean. I mean, be a bit hurt yes, but big brother/little brother people.

You know the SPN fandom - they complain if they've got nothing to complain about.

Last week's ep (errr... 8.12?) was awesome though. Almost like seasons 1 - 5!
