New Scrapbook

Has anyone else had their pictures "migrate" to the new look LJ scrapbook? Mine are all mixed up in totally different albums. It's really weird and makes no sense.

Also you may want to go through and check your photos. I have gone through and carefully deleted anything mildly private as I don't think the security settings have migrated with the pictures. *sigh*

It'd be nice if just once, LJ introduced some new feature and I went "oooh cool!". I know it has happened back in the good old days. Come on LJ team! You can do it!

Mine are migrated but I've not been through them yet. Not even sure how to move them into different albums at this point, though yes, some are in the wrong place.

I think they may have migrated according to tags rather than into the album they were in. For instance I have an album for ck's icons, but it only has two of them, the rest are all in the album for John Simm wallpaper and icons. It's weird. No idea how to move them, but I made sure to delete any personal stuff, because I don't understand the new security settings.

Got the message last night...I didn't even lnow I had that many pictures there but there had been only two non-fannish pictures in it and I deleted them so I think it's all good but when I got the mail I was like "What the ...?"

Yeah. They did have some announcements about it, but I'd totally forgotten by the time the change came.

well, that is the whole point of Live Journal, it can be used as a scrapbook.

Yes, they had changed the format of it and the privacy settings recently though.

It is so ridiculous! They put everything that was public stayed public but everything that was friends or another setting was made private. It was SO ANNOYING. I had to change mine all back to Friends Only.

Yeup! I got worried that they could change it all so easily though and I've just deleted the few piccies that were rl stuff.
