More info on the new Canadian version of Primeval

Not quite sure what you mean there. Do you mean the dude in my icon? That's James Murray from S1 of Primeval. :)

Yeah, me too! But it sounds like they're unlikely to continue the UK version.

Yeah well, that's all right - all the cool characters were mostly gone anyways.

I'm getting the feeling that I'm the only one looking forward to it...

It might be because while I liked the UK series, it wasn't something I was head over heels in love with and most of the time, didn't really quite connect with any of the characters except maybe Connor.

Or because of Martin Wood's involvement, and now with Amanda Tapping (and Chuck!! Haaa!!)...I'm expecting some rather fantastic crack.

I'm really hoping it'll be something good. I just think it's gonna have to wow me, before my brain will stop comparing and just enjoy, yanno?! I'm rather glad it's a Canadian thing, not an American one. Usually I prefer Canadian shows. I do hope it's good. It's certainly sounding better with each press release. Originally they just billed it as a "younger sexier cast" which made my brain go Wha? when you consider the latest season of the UK version and the cast they had. :P

i watched up to season 3 but didn't like the direction it went in. Doubt if I'll be checking out this new one...
