Is there a third season of Rome? My friend seems convinced there is and wanted me to order it, but I don't see one. Anyone in the know, please jump in. Thanks!

There's not, alas. ;_; It got cancelled after season two due to the fact that it was insanely expensive to make, which is why they crammed so much into that season (which was originally supposed to end with the death of Brutus - the Battle of Actium wasn't meant to be till season four).

It's a shame, because it's such an amazing show. But they've talked about doing a movie, so fingers crossed!

I DID hear about ideas for a season three... but it's the usual "yeah, we could/might/who knows" gossip, nothing to hang your hat on, unfortunately.
