I have to say, I did NOT voted for the current government. Heck, I didn't even had a right to vote when they came into power and now that I can vote, they are sure as hell not getting my vote!
The only trouble is that with the preferential system in most seats we'll ultimately have to vote for Labor or Liberal. And KRudd has disappointed me mightily - but Abbott is batshit crazy!
Abbott scares me, which is mighty annoying when I would get rid of Rudd in a heartbeat. Perhaps we need to vote for the new Sex party. They were advertising it at Sexpo according to the radio.
Yeah, I know...and my vote would still go to Labor over Libs, but it's a protest vote.
As for National politics, I'm in a ultra safe Lib seat, so I do have a tendency to vote Labor first--and as much as a lot of KRudd's policies have disappointed me, Abbott *shudders*.
Sometimes I'm embarrassed by the stupidity of our government...wait, it's more than sometimes. *facepalms* I love how commenters point out all the ethical issues with calm ease, when once again there's been no public consultation.
OMG! Will I have to get into conversations with customs officials about whether or not slash fanfic is pornographic? (Bonus points if I'm dressed as a minister at the time?)
Oh please do! I wanna seeeeee it. *facepalms* Really, I thought the firewall was bad, but it is mostly just useless, whereas this is really a privacy concern.
