Computer help? [solved]

Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to get your computer to display all your system details?

So what version of Windows you're running and which service packs are installed...that kind of thing.

I just went through this mammoth process of installing all these extra microsoft bibs and bobs in order to get my MP3 player software to work. The software now opens, but crashes every time I try to do anything. And apparently this is my fault now, because I'm obviously running it on an incompatible system. But I gave them all my system details at the beginning of all this...back in Nov last year! How dare they? *steams*

SO I need something I can screen cap and send back in an angry-ish post proving that I do indeed have the system I said I have.

You're looking for the system properties, I'd think. With XP, you go to Start - (right-click) My Computer - properties and that will give you a page with your operating system and service pack, etc.

Now, if you have Vista or Windows 7, I'm afraid I don't know how they call that info up but hopefully a quick Google search will tell you. Then just cap that sucker and hopefully you can get this all straightened out ASAP! That's SO frustrating when things like that happen! *sends Dean over with his rocksalt shotgun to help you get things to fall in line* ;)

Good luck, hon! *hugs* ♥!

Oh these guys will NOT give my money back for their faulty product that does not do what they say it does or work on the system they say it does... so I continue to back and forth with them because I won't give up.

I doubt it'll ever work unfortunately. And I doubt I'll ever get the money back for this overly expensive piece of crap. *sigh*

Anyway. *screencaps*
Thank ye darling. xx

:(

It should be broad enough that it will play on any bloody version of Windows, like many programs do.

Oh don't tell me. God, just look at iTunes. It freakin' works on any computer and it's a Mac invention. And my old MP3 player is from the same company and I have no problem with the version of the software it has. Pfffft! *kill*

Their latest support email and I quote:
Thank you for getting back to us.

Please be advised that ZEN X-Fi2 is compatible with: Microsoft ® Windows ® XP (Service Pack 2) / XP 64-bit, Windows Vista ®, Windows 7 ®

Have you tried connecting the player to a computer with the recommended operating systems?

My response was basically that my system does fit into those specs and in fact has Service Pack 3 installed. If they can't deal with that, then I'll be going to consumer affairs because their product doesn't work as advertised.

Grrrr

Just as well I never bought one, my windows is way out of date ;)

And that is the cutest kitty!
