I am so creeped out right now. I'm not sure I want to watch this show any more. I haven't felt anything more than disturbed after watching an episode for a while now. :(
I'm not sure what you mean by "creeped out," but I felt underwhelmed with the first 3 episodes of Season 2 of Dollhouse. Episode 4 changed all of that for me. Maybe because it didn't focus on Echo, but on Sierra and others.
I hope that helps you any. (Unless by 2x03, you meant 2x04, in which I understand your "creeped outness" but I found it riveting nonetheless.)
Ohhh, that's right! Forgive me, but 2x03 aired 2 weeks ago in the US and I completely even forgot what it was about (all I remember was Kiki!Victor which was, imo, the best thing ever. lol).
No, you're right. That was quite creepy. I remember the beginning especially where the women looked like mannequins and I really wasn't sure if they were or weren't. So wax museum like. Very scary. Other than the beginning though, the rest of the episode wasn't too bad for me. Probably because I knew it was a primetime show and they couldn't get away with too much creepiness. I also watch and adore Dexter so I could be conditioned a bit. :)
The next episode (2x04) is very disturbing, morally, but I highly suggest you check it out, especially if you like Sierra (and Topher) who both get a significant about of airtime.
I refuse outright to watch Dexter after hearing what it is about. A friend even insisted and gave me the eps on DVD and I still refuse. Maybe I simply have a different moral compass set. *shrugs*
I do agree KiKi!Victor was awesome. I love Victor.
Oh, man, it's funny but I had the same exact reaction! I saw 2.03 in the title of this post and immediately thought "she must mean 2.04, it has to be a typo" before I actually recalled what 2.03 was about. I thought the beginning of that episode was the most disturbing sequence I'd ever seen on tv, and was freaked out the whole day afterwards. And then 2.04 comes along and just blows that out of the water as to creepifying and freaking out. I spent the whole time going O_O. While 2.03 at least has Kiki!Victor to lighten the mood, 2.04 is just unrelenting.
