So, bring on part 2. I was seriously shaking after watching that ending!

Obviously, for the sake of the show, Sammy can't die, so what are people's thought/theories?

Most of mine include healing abilities for Sam or someone else and that would be pretty stupid, so at the moment I'm thinking that it's a vision Sam is having.

I mean Sam has visions of people about to die and they are always connected to the YED or the special children. This is connected to both, so maybe he sees his own death.

So, what if he sees his own death and is then forced to make a descision to pick up the stick and kill Jake. Thus fulfilling the YED's plans. Delightfully evil and so far the only possibility I have managed to come up with (not involving healing abilities or miracles).

I mean Jake stabbed him in the back, twisted the knife and pulled it back out. Not something you'd likely survive even with immediate medical help and they're in the middle of nowhere.

So, I'm interested in what other ideas you guys have, because I've been avoiding everyone's posts until I'd seen the episode and now they're back a way on my friends list.

Also, do you think Mary (Sam and Dean's mother) is a part of one of the previous generations of children? She knew the YED! Freaky! Though if she was she obviously never told John about it. Other ideas?

I once read a fic in which she promised the YED her next born son in return for saving Dean's life as a baby. That theory could still hold I suppose.

Man, I love this show! I just wish it hadn't twisted my heart so badly last night. Yeah, I'm kind of a Sammy girl, with loves on Dean too, and this was painful! Bring on part 2!

Hee! Hey Sam managed it for Dean! Anything id possible on this show. Plus he has Bobby's wide range of knowledge.

Oh ad I totally forgot about them burning down the Roadhouse! Noooooo! I hope they didn't really kill Ash! :(

That's something I've been thinking about for the last few days too. I think it's the option that makes the most sense - the YED would want to be pushing him to kill, to be his soldier since Sam is his favourite, so it makes sense, I think. The only way for Sam to live is to kill Jake.

I'm wondering if that's true whether we'll see a bit more of the 'vision' with Dean going completely off the rails - more incentive for Sam to do it.

I'm thinking YED comments about this generation and waiting for Sam (being not pure blood demon) might mean Mama Whinchester is half/semi demon, (grand)-daughter to him or something twisted like that...

Hmm, I just assumed she was one of the previous generation of psychic children. I mean she is all good energy and such when she saved them at the old house, so it makes it hard to believe she's got evil in her. Anything's possible though.

God part 2 was awesome! Didn't expect that!
