I went to the gym today for the first time since holidays. Ouch! I did Body Combat and I think I'm going to be a tad sore in the morning. Oh well, got to get back into it at some point. They had some funky new music tonight. One of the songs would make an awesome vid, so i'm going to have to gather my coursge to ask what it is. :D

I was tagged by lightz474 for this meme, so here it is.


Rules:
The first player of this game starts with the topic of "5 Guilty Pleasures" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about 5 Guilty Pleasures as well as state this rule clearly. In the end you need to choose 5 people to be tagged and list their names.

My 5 Guilty pleasure thingys:

1. internet, internet, internet. I'm the only person I know in rl that actually talks to random people on the internet, or writes fic or anything...and people look at you in very strange ways when you admit it.
2. TimTams - small addiction thing there. I'm trying to wean myself off of the TimTam slamming!
3. Writing fic...I should be writing a thesis
4. Stargate Atlantis and other shows I love via download
5. Staying up late and sleeping in

I know!! Isn't that weird? With all the people we know on the internet, you'd think some of them would have to turn up in rl. Unless everyone else does too and just doesn't admit it...;D

Yep. I've got this theory that that is what conventions are for...outing all us internet fandom freaks and thereby making us known to each other. Therefore, next convention that rolls around...I am so there. Also massively jealous of the cute photos I keep seeing of the convention, but mostly I want to know for sure that I'm not alone. :D

TimTams are an Australian thing. They are chocolate biscuits and they are the best chocolate biscuits in the world. They have two biscuits and filling between them and all covered in chocolate. They come in a variety of flavours these days, but the basic ones have a sort of chocolate filling in them and what you can do is bite of opposite corners of the biscuit and then suck up your coffee (or tea or whatever) through the biscuit and the filling melts first and then the whole biscuit soon melts too and you shove the whole gooey mess into your mouth - and that's a TimTam slam. You can go through a packet really quickly that way, resulting in feeling mildly sick, but satisfied. My addiction means that I have done this at 7am before... :p

I'm not sure if there is an American equivalent for TimTams. For some reason they never market them overseas. I've seen individually packaged ones. Hmmmm...I wonder how much postage would be on it to America...?

Yum!! Those sound so good. We do have something similar to those and they are imported from the UK. We don't have the ones covered in chocolate though. We just have the plain biscuits with chocolate filling. *lol* Now I want to go buy some.
