Expensive Biscuits!

This came in my email today and just cracked me up. Whether it is true or not, it's my kind of vindictive revenge. I don't like forwarding things, so I figure you can always repost it in your own journals or email it as you like from here.
Hee! Marty pointed out that it's an Urban Legend, but it still cracks me up. I love stories like that. My mother is great at that sort of revenge.

Teehee!

Rinne just pointed out these pics of Kristen Bell and the SPN boys. Linky!

Jenson doesn't move (to the point where he could have just been stuck into the photo later and you wouldn't know the difference) and his expression is priceless! Jarod's lurching about and Kristen has obviously just lost it to the giggles.

*is amused*

I don't really follow SPN much, but I can certainly see the draw. :)

So, today North Korea set off it's first nuclear test. Scary doesn't quite cover it. I guess it's been a long while coming though. It's just the last thing our planet needs - one more country with nuclear weapons capabilities running around showing off it's new toys. *sighs* I almost cried in the gym when I read the headline on the tv.

That's all it is too. A flexing of muscles. One country's leader showing what big boys they are; they have made cool toys too. Otherwise, why let it off? I mean it must cost a hefty bit of money to build a bomb and you can only use it once. It's bad for the environment and it's bloody dangerous. Sure the explosion was underground, but it'll need to be sealed off and kept from leaking for a very long time. If all they wanted was to show that they had the capability, surely they could have got a few UN officials in there with geiger counters.

Anyway, I found this article interesting. Link Here (The link came from Googlemail.com.) It talks about it in a slightly more rational and global sense, rather than just "oh noes". I'm not good at political stuff, since my head tends to be stuck in the sand. However, this confirms much of what I thought of the test. ie. a flexing of muscles, attention seeking and showing off. (I'll point out that it is obviously an opinion piece, so it's one person's perspective.)
