I went to see Pan's Labyrinth today with
yokiem.
Wow, really interesting movie. It weaves the little girl's fantasy world so neatly with the real world that it's practically seamless. The puppetry or CGI (not too sure if it was one or the other or both) was delightful and a little creepy.
The only drawback was the somewhat shocking graphic violence in parts. It was very realistic and I won't fault them for it, though I spent several scenes peering through my fingers occasionally to see if it was over yet. Not for the very squeamish in that sense.
I have a question for the LJ-savvy:
Everyone seems to have this funky thing on their layout, where it shows their tags down a sidebar in one format or another. How are you all doing this? I really want to know.

It's where you can change your journal style (don't know how it's called in English)
Custom Options - Sidebar - ...box in the sidebar - there you can choose "Tags"
To choose the layout there's "Display of tags in the sidebar" (it's either cloud or list)
underneath that one it states "Title of the tags sidebar box"
hope that helps
Just saw Pan's Labyrinth advertised in the paper two days ago. Looked interesting.
