Well, I don't think so. I once wrote a fic based (well, inspired anyway) by a dream I had; it was an SGA fic, but still...

Not at all! I think you just found your muse, m'dear. I once wrote a short story based on a dream too, and it's been one of my faves ever since. I remember folks saying that it was rather Faulkner-like (which was sorta creepy but nice in a way). All the best, and let us dreamers know how it goes ;)
