Happy New Year all.
I'm finally back home after some travelling about over the Christmas break. I won't go into it all now, because about all I can be bothered to write is this...

It was 44 degrees celcius outside. I was in a bus, with no possibility of opening the windows for 3 and a half hours and the damn air con failed!!! That equals...much hotter than 44C in the bus.

Thankyou. I actually picked up a six pack of nice cold beer, but then a nice big heat-induced headache set in and I settled for water instead. Sometimes fans just aren't enough...I so wish I never left my parents comfortable air conditioned house now. Oh well. *sighs*

Yeah that one is a Derry icon and inspired if I might say so. I love that song and it's all patriotic. It's my new fave icon.
Loaded a few other faves too though...after much deliberation. I think I'll be changing icons more often this year.
Oh and yeah it's definitely a bit cooler now...finally. Quiet holidays are good too. Mine was fairly quiet really, it just involved much travel and relative visiting.

Indeed! Actually according to the TV, it reached 45C at the airport - which the bus passed on the way. I don't think it's ever got quite that hot that I can remember ever. *Thinks happy thoughts of cold beer and pretty snow*
