People are such downers!
Wow! has anyone looked at the #AskSupernatural tag on Twitter? It's all vent, vent, Cas/Dean vent, vent... rinse & repeat. The some idiots who can't type actual sentences so I don't know what they're even asking. Ugh Twitter. I would not like to be the poor intern who has to go through those. They will need alcohol. Much alcohol.
Maybe we should try to flood it with some less vent-y, but useful questions. I totally will when/if I think of any... Nup, nothing is coming except the Impala floodlight question. I'll pop that up anyway.
Today I found a S5 Supernatural Guidebook thingy in a $2 bin! It's the season I'm watching and it has nice glossy pictures of the boys in suits. $2 well-spent.

And you know, I love the threat of 'we'll stop watching if you don't (fill in blank). Seriously? As much as I would hate to lose viewers, this subsect of fandom with its fatuous and constant paroxysm of invidious rhetoric is ruining it for those of us who have lives, love show and don't feel entitled to a show, on a major network, doing what WE want them to. Just like any other show on television, they have advertisers who pay the bills and would likely part company if the subsect's ransom demands, demented though they are, were met.
PS: sorry for the weird words.. hehehe.. i'm in the middle of a writing challenge wherein we had to use 5 words we didn't otherwise know. I only hope my newest fandom, BBC Musketeers, doesn't devolve into rabid chaos at some point. Fingers crossed!

LOL! If I had teenage daughters, they'd likely have them but thankfully, I have two boys whom I've taught to respect women and avoid the drama-girls. Like. The. Plague. No one needs that in their lives.

I'd no idea at first. I kept seeing fic popping up but couldn't for the life of me figure where this ground swell of stories was coming from. Then I did some digging and found the series was from BBC. I binge watched *cough*online*cough* and frankly, was hooked from the jump. Still, I kept waiting for it to get cheesy, the likes of Merlin (no offense to anyone but my son and I constantly made fun of the killer trampolines that tossed people about ... very silly) and found THIS series to be most amazing. Far better production value and well, ARAMIS!!!! (Santiago Cabrera!!!!! *thud*) and all the men are gorgeous and very manly men with angsty backgrounds, lots of hair, (no manscaping!! embrace your testosterone men!!) horses, swords and guns and .. I WAS HOOKED!!!
Um.. anyway.. round 2 watching since show is finally airing on BBC America, though it is done in the UK for the season, and what a treat. I've pre-ordered the dvds on blue ray coz.. well, ARAMIS!!!! *thud*

Only show apart from SPN I've ever attempted or even been inspired enough by to vid, was hooked on the very first episode and although this first vid I'm working on is an Athos vid, I know once it's done the next one will be for Aramis - I'm very much a fan of all of them, but there's something about Aramis that has always stolen my heart. I love this interpretation, I love the dry wit and the vocal tones, the rain and the snow, the horses and the leather! Musketeers with Muskets! Hah! heaven! :))
I'm quite sad seeing so many negatives after it first aired both here and in the US - oh well, more for me I guess!
