Summary: Michael sprints to save his team-mate's life.
Notes: I always wanted to write a small fic about what's going on in Michael's head while he's running, but when I saw the prompt I decided to try a vid instead. Fic likely to follow. Thanks to ash48 for looking at several versions of this. I was indecisive about everything, but in the end I've gone with a very simple version.

I so totally, completely agree with you about Michael! He's an effin' interesting character, there's so much to explore and yet so little of him we've seen. Yes, Billy is my favourite (it's JM so it's beyond my will... lol), but I think we've got fair amount of Billy on the show at least, compared to Michael. Hell, he's a psychologist turned CIA operative and a tactical genius motivated by pure paranoia - plenty of potential and possibility to explore! Michael and Billy's friendship is fascinating too. Sadly all lost now. :(

And that's why I adore lymricks' fic (I saw you recced her work). Her Michael is almost everything I needed and wanted to see in the series; his background/story, the way his brain works, what it's like in our leader's head and mind. I wish she writes for Chaos again but it seems it's most unlikely to happen... *sigh*

Yes, her fic was brilliant! I need to get it on to my Kindle when I have a spare moment. I know I watched the show for Michael, but I fell in love with all four operatives and their friendship and brotherhood. (Oh why oh why cancel on us? *rant*) We will have to poke lymricks for more. *g*
