hrrm, you want crack fic! LOL

Ah, see The Burning Zone was on um, 1996 or so. *nods* It was on right after the X Files giving this hormonally-crazed teenager Mulder and Marcase in one night. Mrowl! Was my fave night of TV. *nods*

They were a team that was, um NSA?, something top secret. And they would be called in when there were strange unexplainable disease outbreaks and such. Marcase (JDM) was a virologist (also a doctor and he could perform surgery, but who is counting these things?) and Shiroma was kinda like his Scully. She was a brilliant (they said she was brilliant a lot) molecular biologist. And then there was Cassian, who called all the shots and was maybe a scientist at some point and one black security dude (Hailey) who wore terrible comando outfits some of the time. It was awesome in a really bad way, but mostly I just fell in love with Dr Edward Marcase. lol Oh and most weeks they had like a religious subplot type thing where prayer or bright white "god-is-calling" light or whatever either saved the day or taught someone a lesson. Marcase was a believer and quite often said stuff about hope and prayer while holding someone's hand. Heee! Which was kinda odd when you think they were meant to be a scientific team finding answers, but... eh, whatever *shrugs* Marcase was hot! :P

The show lasted about 12 episodes, before JDM and the chick who played Shiroma quit and they had to replace the cast and revamp the show. Sooooo, nobody has ever heard of it, but somehow I kinda adored it for it's brief run. Go me! :)

I still go all swoony when I watch JDM. But you may have noticed that. :P
