I actually thought Dean offering Sam the Impala was the most important thing he did all episode. Completely speaks to who Dean is - offering Sam Dean, Dad, home and protection all in one fell swoop.

The boys definitely need to split up, if only to rediscover how much they need each other. Most brothers don't spend their whole lives together, so I think it will do them good. Only. Y'know. Don't make it last too long!
