Toby is a paramedic with a mysterious past, who is telepathic and starts using his gifts to help people. It kinda feels a bit like Tru Calling, but with a cute male lead (in a uniform) and no time hopping stuff.

I see what you mean about Beckett. Especially his eyes when he does that!
