Also, I have a request. Does anyone know where I can find a nice screencap/s of Lois Lane in that S5 episode where she stripteases down to an American flag bikini? *G* Or a really nice icon of her in said bikini? *G*

I'm working my way through S5 of Smallville at the moment. I'm loving Lois and Chloe, but I can't quite figure out what the point of Lana is. Her whole role seems to be to stand around making doe eyes and looking pretty, while the guys lust after her. Am I missing something?

LOL! No, I think you've pretty much nailed it. :D The whole Lana and Clana thing was the reason I finally gave up on Smallville - it was the ship that wouldn't die, like the song that never ends. I didn't hate Lana exactly, but she did begin to annoy me exceedingly...as you said, she doesn't really have a purpose except to be the beautiful and helpless love interest.

lol! Fair enough then. I know I stopped watching the early seasons on TV because they bored me, but I started watching S4 and now S5 and the plots are quirky to say the least... Lana is possessed by a witch for much of S4. *snickers* Pity that didn't last longer. :)
