Texans come hither!

If I were to find myself in the great state of Texas toward the end of April, what marvellous things might I be able to entertain myself with?

Are there things one absolutely must do when visiting Texas? Please do tell!

I'd be visiting someone in Dallas and possibly branching out from there depending on time etc.

Edit: Thanks guys, you're making me really want to go now. I am so going to try to sort my holiday time out ASAP. :)

I've never been there (I really don't travel as I'm kinda afraid of flying. lol), but if you find Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and/or Lee Pace (all Texas natives), be sure to send one of them my way. XD

And have you tried searching the internet for famous sites in Texas and things to do. Usually pretty helpful! :)

Living in Australia has possibly made me rather blaze about the whole travel thing. I find planes kinda fun! Sucks to have that phobia. *hugs*

Yep, gonna go to the interwebs next... just love getting an idea from people that know places and I have several Texans on my flist...which is awesome!
