Wow, I really loved this. John's always pissed me off on the show, but reading this and thinking about what it would have been like for him to try to raise two boys on the road, probably desperately afraid that either of them would be killed just like his wife... well, I'm a little more sympathetic now. I love that he gave Sammy a Supersoaker! :D That's smart thinking.
