International Women’s Day celebrates the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. This year International Women’s Day celebrates 100 years of achievements.
It honours the work of the women who campaigned for women’s right to vote and celebrates the success of women around the world, as well as reminding us of inequities still to be addressed.
You might also be interested in the 10thousandgirl campaign which encourages young women in Australia to understand and map out their financial goals. The campaign is also hoping to raise money to improve the financial security of young women in other countries.
